I am a UK rescue & have been contacted by a lady in Detroit who has a mum & 4 month old babies, genders unknown. Dad has already been sent to pet store. She is asking me for recommendations for a good rescue in the Detroit area - this seems to be an emergency situation as she says her kids aren't looking after them well. Any help or recommendations please.

Google mentioned that this rabbit rescue has also adopted out guinea pigs. Maybe they would have some advice?

The google blurb said, "Finding new homes for bunnies, guinea pigs, chinchillas, and hamsters around Metro Detroit."

Sadly they are closed to new intakes since March 2018, they have some links though so I will keep looking

The Michigan Humane Society could also potentially take them in, I have adopted several pigs from the shelter in Westland over the years (this location services Detroit residents). https://www.michiganhumane.org/

Thank you Tofu, that's very kind of you to find me another link but they are now with Tiny Paws. Someone told me that the Michigan Humane Society is a kill shelter - is this right?
