Hibbert's medical thread - teeth problems and possible bloat?

Thank you both. The house is too quiet without his little squeals and pitter patter of his feet across the floor to the kitchen. We were able to get his foot prints before he passed, which we put next to a photo of him. It's been of comfort to us.

The tumor did indeed grow very quickly. From the time of the vet visit until 5-6 days after, his tumor grew from barely noticeable (I needed the vet to help me find it) to obviously visible. Even the vet was surprised. Perhaps it had to do with the location of the tumor - not sure. Hibbert did shrink some in that time (30 - 40g), but the tumor stood out regardless.

I can't seem to edit my original post, but I wanted to add a minor note that Hibbert's voice got deeper and his usual pig noises sounded different when the tumor got large. This is of course due to the tumor being on his throat.

I'm so sorry. Losing them can be so painful. Sounds like he had a great life with you.
