Thanks for oppinion. In ingridients its written:
Natural fibres, hay (25.7%), starch, carrots (15.5%). He loves carrots.

I feed him homegrown vegetables every day as we have our own garden, grass and we live in the house:). And we got home grown peppers from a farmer who lives close to us. Just tought to buy him something special for 4th i havent decided what..cause he already has so a lot of things..

I'm paranoid about things like dried carrots. When dehydrated veggies expand in the gut, there is the potential for bloat or even blockage. I have had it happen.

Tnx, sef, I didnt buy this, than. We bought tunel made of hay and some green oats and Timothy hay and he was very very happy and excited-he ll be 4 on 31.10, but he already got presents.

Now, I have to ask you something else.
I saw they have (in England)online dermatology service. https://virtualvetderms.com/our-team/
This Sue Paterson seems very very experienced dermatologist. All seemed great, but...
.. their Facebook page seems off(they have little likes..and no comments and all that https://www.facebook.com/virtualvetderms/).
They want payment via credit card so i am hesitant.
I just tought for second oppinion.

I am very happy with our vet as he is experienced and very educated,..however this Sue seems to be dermatologist only,so as i said just for second oppinion.
We Will visit Iries vet next month for stuff for inhalations and check out and we Will also show this skin formation so he can check it not just look at photos, anyway.

What do you think about that..i dont wanna put my credit card numberto something fake, otherwise our three animals have unlimited money for whatever they like..and i am not rich..i just have enough for them, even if i give all to them (sometimes)..if anybody knows something about it. Please write:)

Just from the little that I skimmed through their FB page, I saw no reviews or comments---which strikes me as odd and concerning. I vote No as well.

Thanks for oppinions!

I decided against it..its a shame cause as i said this dr seems really experienced, but this whole fcebook andcredit card thing is just odd. I rather pay with paypal whatever i am buying or when i get it as we do it in our country.

I checked couple other things like that and none of it seemed very accurate to be honest.. so..yeah, this online vet things dont seem to work.

So we ll have to sort it out *live*.. Alright, than.. I ll report to you when we do it..as I said in November.

There are so many online scams, it's better to play it safe. Good luck and keep us posted.

Thank you, too:).

We have an update. As I said we re rather crazy, so we are very persistant bastards..we are celebrating his birthday today, anyway..

I sent photo in US:)to dermatologist. And she immidiatly responded for free, she said there are certain type of tumors more common in pigs but she cant exactly say what it is based on the photo(that i sent to you, Lynx. ).

So our vet was very on point again. He s good, what can Isay. It seems its not something typical at all. More to follow when we see our vet.

And my sista pointed out as you, Lynx, said.. its on the skin, thats why its wierd if it would be tummor. Cause tumors are usually in skin as I checked online.

And where we sent for second oppinion:

Here is a repost of your picture. It looks like it could be removed surgically without much difficulty. A veterinary pathologist could identify what it is for you if you were curious:

Tnx. I am sure pathology Will be done if or when it Will be removed.

I have tough times listening to anybody, sometimes..see we re for freedom i am not very obediant nor is Irie;). But we Will haveto listen to our vet and he ll remove it when he Will decide and of course we want him to do it, cause he operated our previous pig Lee four times succesfully.

Strange! I still think it looks wart-like. It will be very interesting to hear of any test results if the vet ultimately decides to remove it.

That was my first thought (previous page - that it was wart-like). Still looks fairly wart-like! Does not look at all like a tumor.

We were at Iries vets..and I was also at Ringos vets this week so.. i usually just so have enough after all that.

Anyway, the other vet was working. He said iits sebaceous gland. Its much clearer if you see it *live* than by photo, like humans have it.
HE said he would not put Irie under anasthesia, but somehow get this stuff out(liquid is inside this thing). Only local i dont know how you call it in english, but we say only local anasthesia as only this part you do not feel. ITs not whole body anasthesia like for operations..

My sister and I joke we only allow anasthesia with cannabis:p;).

So, Irie can come in a week so they Will get this out or in 4 weeks to check it. He said he wouldnt wait half of ayear. I said if we can leave it alone, but he said it can cause some complications later on and they would have to operate it or whatever.

I havent decided what we Will do..as I have enough of vet stuff..really.And with Ringo we didnt sleep this week a lot so I need some rest:). I just have to let you know about results.

The only reservation I have about this vet is that he said liquid is inside. If it is actually sebaceous matter, it is likely pasty. Take a look at this topic:
http://www.guinealynx.info/cyst.html

My guinea pig had kind of a cap of skin on top. It is possible the skin has thinned and only a thin covering is on top with sebaceous matter beneath. One won't know until it is looked at.

Has the vet even tried to draw any matter out with a syringe to see what is inside?

Okay.. ENglish is not my native language so i dont know..sometimes i cant explain properly or i use some wrong words, i am sorry for all misunderstanding..i also cant wrote the name of Ringos tumor in englihs..i know how we say it in ours..

He didnt say it. We saw it..he squeezed it.. if you know what i mean.. liquid-sort of, liquid(i said liquid, not he....maybe pasty yeah..it wasnt like water.. ,..he squeezed it and something came out.. whatever:). Nothing is beneath.

Not with syringe..just ordinary. He didnt use any equipment. I Will check topic yeah, thanks.
