A friend is thinking about getting a dwarf rabbit from a breeder who breeds them as feeders. I'm wondering if piggies and bunnies can be playmates or is this a bad idea? If it's an okay idea is there any precautions I need to take health wise? I don't my baby getting sick. I know nothing about rabbits and nowhere near enough about pigs.

In general, we completely discourage putting rabbits and guinea pigs together. They do not understand each other and bunnies can seriously injure guinea pigs.

Thank you. Don't want to do anything to put him in danger.

Ditto on what Lynx says. I don't know tons about rabbit care but a lot of people here have rabbits as well as guinea pigs. I believe they do better in pairs, just like guinea pigs. And female rabbits need spayed to prevent problems down the line. And, of course, they need much more living space than people think.
