Hi Everyone!

First of all, thank you so much for all the stellar advice floating around this forum :)

I just snagged an empty Apple-Cinnamon herbal tea box from my college library, and I'd love to 'recycle' it as a new piggy chew toy. However, I was just wondering whether trace amounts of cinnamon would harm a piggy's mouth or digestive track? While I know guinea pigs can't eat cinnamon sticks or powdered cinnamon, do you think the aroma and oils on the packaging would cause any health problems? The teabags in question were unwrapped, so the aroma is VERY pungent. Do you think this would pose a problem? Or would it simply be a zesty new chewing option? All the other ingredients (Hibiscus, Chamomile, Roasted Chicory, Apple, Orange Peel, and Roasted Carob) seem pretty innocuous in trace doses.

Thank you so much!

Is this a cardboard box with bright colored inks on it? You might want to call the company to find out if the inks are soy based (edible) or something else. I don't think the aroma of cinnamon would be harmful.
